Engine: The bike has149.8cc fuel injected liquid cooled engine. It is made of DiASil Cylinder with a forged piston. It gives a stunning power of 17 bhp with max. torque of about 15 Nm @ 7500 rpm. It is the powerful bike under the 200cc range with 6 speed gear transmission. Bike has India first's 150cc range with 4 valve engine with the forged pistons, Delta-box frames. Has a top speed of 135Kmph.

Design and Stylings: Some of the design concepts YZF R1 is transmitted to R15. An important point to note is that this motorcycle is not a scaled-down version of YZF-R1 or YZF-R6.
